thats what i did but i havent been real happy with it jus cuz its not really a full system, stock mani/converter, stock center pipe, autorice axleback custom flanged to the center pipe. Its ok for now but today i found a full stainless system with header for $178.00 shipped so im prolly gonna jump on that

im dealin with the same crap on my drivers window, glass keeps popping out of the reg cuz theres one mounting point that wont stay tight, gonna lock-tite it and then try to secure the pad parts that hold on to the glass itself with doublesided tape or something

Just fixed my window hope it stays. but passenger side only goes up so far and then i have to pull it up, dont know whats wrong?

 

so I'm getting a 2nd interview with zackbys which almost garenetties a fix of the Y7. Ive decieded that if it's broke, it's not getting fixed with oem parts

i have a ek hatch. i want to be in sohc squad. i also have a question. im doing a y8 im swap (then the full mini me). but when i start it it revs straight up without me giving it gas. PLEASE HELP ME!!! here is my car. tell me if it is soch worthy!! Derek

may be reving like that due to throttle not being in proper adjustment? or maybe bad TPS?

 

or a vacuum hose not hooked up? i went back thru my engine harness and had to pull my pcv hose to get my injector clips, but when i put it all back together i forgot to put that hose back and it revved steady at 4k.

 

well i used the y7 tb the swapped out the y8 rotor. i dont have a plug for the IACV. does that matter. and where is the tps on the y7 tb?

 

this is a very good possibilty, makes perfect sense actually
saw this in another thread as well:
"You can use the Y7 t/b but need to change the spring/rotor with one from a t/b that was normally side-mounted. If it has the same 3 wire iacv it wil work. if its a 2 wire then no."

you could also just get a b-series tb from a junkyard, and "modify" it to have a d-series tps. you have to mess with the adjustment/position a little bit on the tps but it works.

i did it to my car, and i think mattj also has it too.

fellow Sochers yesterday was a very sad day for me =(
as i was on my way to school to write my exam i got rear ended by 2 cars ='(
my body shop said the car is going to be written off :'( </3 i am very very heart broken i will have to see whats going to happen with the insurance. the rear end of the car is completely ****ed.

i just thought i share my pain with the crew. =(

yea sohc is okay its not worth it for me to buy the car back and fix it since damage is way too much im probably going to end up settle down with the money

 

Take the motor and stick it in a EK sedan. Best route,.... IMHO
