Here are some pics of my car before I took off the Carbon hood for the winter. I took off the Hood because I want the hood to last longer then usual........Also put on this front strut bar that I had sitting in my garage. Its not what I want on her but it'll work for now......I powdercoated the bracket attachments to the strut.......

 

thanks man i love this accord. my dad used to have a 5th gen back in the day and i always loved it and it took me almost a year of looking around to find a coupe in decent condition with no rust. the fact that it was a a standard EXR (EX) was a bonus.

 

i wish i had an ex...i was lucky enough to find a COMPLETETLY RUST FREE 5 speed fo do!!! cd5/7 ftw!

 

yea EX is great i mean having sunroof and and vtec is just awesome lol. four doors are nice its just that im a coupe guy but i like how your car looks its in very good condition. i was thinking about doing the yellow paint in the high beams like how you have it done but i just didn't want to wait until i got that paint. i might do them on my second set of headlights.

 

yeah i love the yellow highs. they are awesome in the fog! i want to pull apart some stock corners and paint them black

 

I'm trying to find a set of fogs for my car but i cant find any so i think I'm just going to get a set of Blazer's and do HID in those. i saw someone on hondasociety with stock corners blacked out it looked nice. i just grabbed a set of clear corners and clear signals to go with my black housing. i wonder if we can do HID in our headlights without blinding people. loll

 

ebay, the 94-95 fogs are everywhere! the 96-97 fogs are impossible to find...I have silvania ultras in my headlights which are equivalent to 4000k and people flash their highs at me all the time...then they feel like ******** when i flash mine back haha. but you can you just have to angle them wayyyyy down

 

hey guys. Two questions. One, anyone have tips on fitting a fmic in with 99-00 fogs? Also...any tips on replacing hood release cable

as far as replacing the hood release cable, take the fender off, and its pretty simple. don't break the little clips or you'll be kicking yourself in the ***. lol.
