for the most part, this squad doesnt really have teenagers. i think at least 5 of us are over 20. im 25, couple other dudes are older than me which is basically an old man on HT.
i think its funny how youngins get into hondas, then "graduate" to nissans, then eventually ae86, rx7, and supras haha

I live at the base of the Rocky mountains so everyone and their dog thinks they are the next drift king. Stock 240's sell for pretty crazy money around here. I don't see myself driving anything else. I'll just keep going further south to buy my next shell.
I'm 28 and Been doing the Honda thing for 7 or 8 years. I had a b16 and it was all fine and dandy but for what they cost I'd rather build a d-series.

but then a TT 300zx will sell for just about the same price!
the 300 is more of a drift car than the 240 in every way from torque to wheel base.

Hey guys I have a ej2 and its been doing some things that are freakin scary lol. For one before its able to start the check engine light has to come off ( takes about 5-7 mins on a good day, whats up wit that ?) Also when its started it sounds like its on three cylinders at some points and im getting a bit of white smoke. I checked the coolant, and the oil they have not mixed, however im scared it may be the head gasket. Are these familiar symptoms to any of you? PLEASE HELP
Thanks in advance

white smoke is generally coolant being burned. if you have a repair manual, you can do a head gasket job with basic tools, and a torque wrench. if its sounding like its running on 3 cyl, check the spark plugs, are they firing right? spark plugs in good shape? coil in the dizzy good?
lol, 30 ain't that old. i'm 27, and been into honda's since 2002 when i got my first one. ever since then, i've been hooked. i've owned other cars than honda, but for some reason i always go back to honda. lol
Im 29 and my first car was an 85 prelude, then a 2000 Focus hatch, 88 DX hatch, 89 DX hatch, 93 Probe GT, 93 Civic coupe, 2002 Protege5, 92 Integra, and now 90 sedan. I love Hondas, but I also loved the way my Focus handled and the torque my Probe GT had

Yeah I don't have a tool to check the code, however my thoughts exactly as far as the dizzy or spark plugs. If its a head gasket, I heard once that happens in a d series its pretty much over and its already blown a head gasket like a year ago. I guess ill have to get it towed to the shop but man if its just spark plugs or somethin simple i'd be hella thankful lol. Is it possible one of the spark plugs has excess oil on it thats why im seeing smoke?

I got my first honda at 16 a cb7 accord. Im 21 now and I own a db1 and a ej2 I doubt things will be different by the time im 30 lol. I'll probably get a luxo car in the next couple years but im stayin true to the honda game for a while yall.....
I think I will always own a Honda, when I come back from Afghanistan my daily is gonna be a CR-V and more then likely I will get a GSR with a JDM front end as the weekend car, but for now ima fix up the 4 door so I can a decent price for it when I sell it in the near future
I'm 23 and I've owned over 26 hondas, I've had built b series, built d series, boost, n/a. Having a Honda isn't just having a car it's a lifestyle and I don't see me changing lifestyles any time soon. Lol plus my daughter loves helping me work my cars so we just going to keep doing the thug thizzle!
Well my room mate remembered he had a sedan hood underneath the house and decided to give it to me since my hood has a dent and is rusting all up. Its in good shape but he had decided to spray paint it black. What grit do I need to use to sand the hood down so I can primer it?
well my daughter is about to b 5 and she tries to help but she usually just hits wrenches against the car, lol she like going to the track to see races though. My friends and family call her my mini me. lol

speaking of kids and working on cars, my 3 year old daughter whenever im out in the garage she has to be right next to me doing something, she will go into a little bag of tools i keep for the kids and grab a 10mm wrench and just start turning bolts and such, my 6 year old puts his viper power wheels up on jackstands and pretends hes working on the engine.
