Tell us about your da. How long have u had it? My da is brown on brown, its stock engine wise. I had for about 3 years, brother handle it over to me. It look like **** when I bought it from him, I revive it. (don't have old pics.)

What do u like about your da? I like da's cause there simple not over done by body work.

what are your future plans for your da? Get a new engine, black leather interior, try to keep it kind of stock.

Why do u want to be in the da squad? Cause I want to represent da's.

...just a lil hard to put a strut tower bar on a DA...especially with the ABS box in the way...i have found it damn near impossible to put one there because of that box and I have yet to come across a relocation point for it...if anyone knows how let me know

Yeah that is an option but it is not as easy as it looks...i have heard some horror stories once people remove the ABS unit...plus it leaves the damn check engine light on...ehhhhhhh

Yeah i got a strut tower bar for the front and rear and ended up throwing the front one out cause i was not going to take the time to try and get it to bend or work

i removed my abs when i did my swap so that made it a little easier. you just need the proportioning valve along with the non abs hard brake lines you need to reuse your 12mm fitting on rear of your master cylinder and make two 6" lines out of your old lines its really not that hard just practice flaring brake lines

some of you guys wanted to see the ground clearance of the ETD traction bars, here are some pictures, the camera was sitting on the ground, to compare that is a JDM 4-1 ITR header

might be a little big

how'd you do that?

if i was you, i'd tack-weld a nut on the end of that bolt and put some pb blaster on the bolt, then give her a try.

All you did was over torque the VC bolt, its expected with a nearly 20 year old motor. You will need to buy another VC bolt from the Acura dealer, not Honda, they won't sell it to you. You may as well buy all of them, because all of them are stretched to their limit now after all these years of heat. You should only have to torque those down to 8lbs. I believe. You can remove them with an 8 or 10 mm socket or wrench, you'll see what I mean when you remove the VC cover. If you can start the car up and with out any oil seeping out, try to go to the dealer, or take another car.

you should be able to back out the old stud out of the cap, using a screw driver.
