To be honest w/you, there not really any famous brand (like Mugens, Spoon or even OEM Honda wheels) the brand is "Techno Cast Wheels" I did a reseach on them, and I couldnt find anything at all bout them, but my friend that lives in Japan told me it´s Japan brand (not that famous like I said) but that works for me...

Yeah, well, last time I tried organizing this, it got out of hand. I added anyone who had a DA and at that time, I thought that was all it took to join. Then what happen, 500+ members later, the squad turned into an army. Wtf, DA ARMY infantry?. Uh, no. And so what, internet car squad or not, if people are reppin' out there in the streets, who are you to say that it's just a internet squad. We use the internet for ****ing everything, and you got the nerve to tell me that its just a internet squad? Well, maybe EK Squad is just another internet squad too huh. Or even EJ1 Squad. How bout Dumpedstars? All these crews that started on the internet eventually started reppin' on the streets. And of course distance will be an issue, so to fix that would have to be using the internet. So why laugh when this fact is true?

Btw, why do most of you laugh? Cause I'm more serious about this than any of you? I'm serious about it I care about it. Maybe I care too much that I think this squad is better than any other squad out there. Maybe I think about what benefits we can have by being in this squad. Maybe I thought that we can socialize as squad, and maybe make better things happen for ourselves. Maybe I wanted what I thought could be the best DAs out there. Whatever, I guess, maybe I'm just taking this thing WE ALL ****ING USE CALLED THE INTERNET too seriously...

 

I may not be in the squad, but I sure do rep my Integra hella hard. Not a day in my life I wouldn't rep my car. Even with the stockies, I still think I **** on everyone in sac, besides Hiep of course, and I still break necks with my stockies. In the squad or not, I'll keep on representing my DA. It would be nice to be in a squad where you can all share the same interests.

 

+1 I started off with an EK hatch but I always wanted a DA and now that I have one I rep the DA everywhere I go.

Who am I to say that it's just an internet squad? Someone who has been around long enough to see what car crews were like BEFORE internet message boards. Real car crews know each other personally and work on their cars together. You guys post in the same thread and put "DA Squad #X" in your signatures on a message board. There is a big difference.

Yes. Those are all just internet squads, Dumpedstars being one of the dumbest things I've ever seen on the internet. It's no different than that "Famous Status" crew that you're "reppin'" in your signature. It was one dude that wanted to be in a cool "squad" so he had a bunch of people PM pictures of cars, then he chose which ones he thought were "cool" enough to make his squad look good. Now people feel cool that they are in a "squad" full of 99% of people they'll never meet, they put their squad number in their signature on message boards, and of course, they put a sticker on their car.

Methinks some of the people in here are laughing because what I say is true. Personally, I was laughing because I found it funny that based on your new "rule," your own car wouldn't have been accepted into your own squad until you got rid of your GS-R wheels.

And what benefits would those be? Internet notoriety? The feeling of exclusivity of being in the DA Squad?

This is an open forum. You can, and DO socialize with the folks in your squad on this site regardless of the squad existing or not. You also socialize with those not in your squad, so what exactly makes it necessary to have this illusion of exclusivity? What better things do you see happening for yoursleves?

No offense to anyone in the squad, but the VAST MAJORITY of the "best" DAs out there wouldn't touch this squad with a 10 foot pole, if they were even actually on Honda-Tech at all. Also, by you trying to make these rules as to what people in the squad can have on their cars, you're doing nothing more than trying to make all of the cars look similar, a phenomenon that has plagued the Honda community for the past 5 years at least.

EXACTLY! thank you! how/who are you to dictate what someone puts on their car? we build our cars for us, not for you. period. not everyone is going to agree on every single part someone else chooses for their car. but as long as the car is clean and not ricey, then who gives a flyin f*ck what size wheels they have on the car, or if they are oem, or "fake" or what lip they choose or if they may have a few interior pieces painted, etc. etc.

andy took my alt off tonight quick, got it tested...Failed 3 test...Bad regulator...hope that fixs my problem

Well my batt light has been on for a little while...I had 14.8v at the alt and the batt was charging so I thought maybe a bad ground because the light would flick on and off..but when I went to get tuned after a while the wideband started jumping up and down from weird voltage...couldnt figure it out so I pulled my alt. because somone said it will have the volts and put out good, but wont have amps which is correct and my regulator was bad hope that is the problem..


Not sure if I told you guys but I made 350whp on 10psi so far had to stop, but its going to make great power with those numbers to show it.
