Nah I'm with you, looks odd. There's some 8th gen Civics I've seen with it. Makes the car look really cheap.

 

i know some guys do it to clear bigger engines like the h22 or sometimes waste gates

 

My friends car has a h2b in it and the hood shuts fine with it.

 

yea that was with Hybrid mounts like years ago. New mounts allow the motor to sit at a stock height.
Took the DA out for a little meet action last night, can't wait til it gets nicer out!
and for my turbo build to be done

Nice matt. when do you think will be done? I had to work till 8 tonight so I didnt get anything done today..Got my IC mounted and done, just need to buy my new throttle body and make my new dp and im good to go

 

Right now I just need to buy Retainers, 1/2 rad, Oil Pan and Victor X and the motor will be done.
Then I will need to buy all the turbo and fuel setup

 

i wish i could have some cool updates like you guys right now damn near every dollar i make is going towards digging myself outta debt (which is more important i guess), but once im finally out of debt, i'll be back at it with a vengeance!
