I litterally use 3 fingers to change gears in the Euro R, the short shift kit I installed helped allot with gear changes though. Perhaps you need the shifter box from a Euro R?
Also Cable ties around the shifter cables every 3-4" help with keeping the Selector Cables in the right place (cheap effective fix)

I did something different.. I bought the housings.. they had a crack or two on them, i refinished them and repainted the grills as well to oem dark grey, then I had to buy good emblems from a seperate set because its really hard to find emblems that arent warped and vhb tape those on.. and instead of keeping the blown speakers (which is half the cost on most bids) see if you can just buy the housings themselves for half the cost. and upgrade the speakers.. I used dc2 type r gathers speakers on all 4 corners.. just because i like the fact that you can see the gathers emblems on the speakers through the grill on sunny days

im thinkin about gutting my entire car bolt by bolt.. redoing and customizing the wire harness before i do the swap, get the body work done, and put all new bolts... what do you think? at this pace ill be done by the time im 50...

Whats up gents! so I grenadedmy tranny last night its back to the garage for the Blue ferio and out comes the wifes black ferio hahaha thats what i get for racing a wrx from a dig I pounded 3rd gear and blew up the syncro I came home backed into the garage and tranny fluid was leaking all over the floor I think I may have cracked the case as well. I went to drain the fluid and chunks of the brass syncros came out with the fluid
