Well I went by what AllDATA said and disconnected the C ECU plug and checked for continuity between terminal 1 on the sensor plug and a ground and there was, which is supposed to meana short. I'll make sure to check all the easier things first before digging into the wiring tho

Re: ** The offical 96-00 civic 4dr thread ** PART 2
Hi guys
I am a beginner. I have a few questions, hope someone can help me
My car is a 96 honda civic sedan lx. I am trying to get a nice rim(wheel) aftermarket for my car but don't know what size should i go for. Is 16 17 too big. Should i buy 15. There is one 15x6.5 + 35mm offset.
Second question is i am trying to replace my whole headlight and in the rear plus getting a pair of fog light. Don't know which kind is good. If someone can give me name brand of the light or even website, that would be great
Third question, when i do the fog light should i get a new front bumper as well?
i hope to gain more knowledge, please reply guys, appreciate much

w0w lotta n00bs today y0!
would u guys mind introducing yourself first before jumping to questions??
geez, its like strangers coming to my house and opening my fridge lol
at least one posted pics of what he's working with
and to answer that last question:
no u dont need a new bumper. u just have to cut part of the lower grille.
oh yeah, dope seats lenny
needs some cleaning
i wish i had those. but who knows? hehe i might just...
as for the guy asking the pattern for the window visors:
install the brackets on your visors, put it up against the window and it should give u an idea where they go. mark those spots.
undo the brackets then undo your rubber window/weather strips and install the brackets in between them. lastly, install the visors onto the brackets again. take your time to do one side, then the rest will be easy.
as for the guy with the tranny problem, did u unbolt the starter? how bout the flywheel cover from the bottom?
if everything is unbolted, jiggle the tranny while pulling it away from the block. but make sure all the bolts are undone. helps to have a friend too.

go/stay with OEM head and tail lights. both the clean SiR headlights (no amber reflectors) and the type R headlights (chrome housing) are the best looking ones. please stay away from the blacked out headlights. as for taillights, either u stick with stock or red/clears. again, stay away from the altezza-style ones.
seems to me this is your first honda, no?
and post pics please coz we are in the appearance/cosmetic forum

15 or 16 is up to you really and also depending on the style of the wheels you choose.
I personally only use 16's.
i shop around the classifieds/marketplace on here or icb(jdmland.com)
i warn you though, honda parts aren't as cheap as nissan.
