Re: ** The offical 96-00 civic 4dr thread ** PART 2
Does anybody know if 2000 silver was the same as 97 silver? Looking at this trunk off of a 2000. I am thinking of doing the trunk swap like portflow.
Looks like I'll have to get a spoiler as well.

The heat is starting to come out now!! Going to Por 15 my front wheel wells after I cut and fold the inner lip So they don't slice up my tires anymore And so I can run no splash shield and not worry about it rusting.

That stuff is so incredibly solvent though... I have a real hard time believing that it comes off without doing at least some damage to the paint.

If we have extra time we can drive to Twin Peaks

Not you too!! I feel like its the new "jdm" craze. My friend bought a Tc and thats all he talks about now. He plasti-dipped his grill mirrors, emblems, and his rims. And he thinks his car is "clean" Kinda sad really. But I do like the idea if it coming off if you want to revert it. I want to do that to me chrome time on my windows and just do a paint top coat.

A rough surface (faded paint, no clear) will hold the paint together better and will have a hard time peeling it off coz it breaks up. On the other hand, a clean waxed panel offers the most ease when time comes u want to peel the paint off.
