I'm about to hit the 200k and believe its time to tune it but don't know where to start and once my bro gets back from Afghanistan I'll be able to post pics of what I've updated also getting trailing arm bushings and motor mounts from energy suspension, instead of $50 off certificate that I won at Eibach they gave me $100 off
PS sorry for the Novel
Sounds like your transmission has gone bad,but you might wanna take it to a professional to check it out,my car was doing the exact same thing and I had it looked at and that's what the guy told me.I found a cheap ex trans and bought a new clutch and I love the difference from the dx trans.

Caddi, sorry to hear about your car man I know what it feels like.

I've got a question for everyone, I could probably find out in a search on here but I'm too lazy and am about to order my new wheels

What kind of offset can I put on my EL without having to roll the fenders?

I'm thinking of Work Emotion 11r or XD9 in a 17x8 and I don't want a little bit of a lip could go with 17x7 but not too familiar with all this offset stuff

any help would be great ....again I don't want to roll any fenders, car is full out Skunk2'd

It really depends on how low you are... 17x8 sounds like you have to roll your fenders unless it has a 35 and up offset on it... also camber plays a big role... offset wise, the lower the offset the more it will poke out.. so maybe 16x7/8 +25 offset will do and that's just from me, I know Cadi has more to say about it

hmmm, im not to familiar with the 17's......Jay is right tho, if you go 17's stay with a higher offset 35+......if you go 16's you can pull off a 16X8 with an offset of anything higher than 25 without having to roll fenders

hope that helps bro

Hey guys, this is a couple of pics of how it will sit, all the suspension from the orange one is now on my EL with a 5 bolt. The EL is my daily so I don't want crazy low as I drive the highway to work.

The silver Ek is set up on Skunk2 ProC's with 16's but its a track car, Orange is my EM1 after it was recovered and spray bombed in some parts it is sitting on Skunk2 ProS with upper control arms no camber kit

Replaced my EK9 grill for OEM. And added 5mm spacers in the rear.
