Yeah, cars can be fixed, but it sucks when you don't have much money due to other finances haha. I suffered with a minor frame damage but we did what we could to fix it. Now, I have to figure out how to get to school and what not since my sister and I are the only one that drives in the family.
I'm getting rid of my A/C as well because my condenser got pretty bent and I was on the fence about removing it anyway

I've always had a question. What is the difference between USDM moldings and thin ones? I've never really seen a difference.

i find the sidemoulding issue amusing. they're job is to protect the doors from unwanted dings and contact...
we have the thick ones here in the US where parking spaces are ample enough for most mid size vehicles let alone a small civic
and then they put thin ones in asian civics where they could use the thicker counterpart coz of tight parking hahaha
i just think they got it the other way around
but i do have thin mouldings on my car. my original ones are paintmatched with d car

If the US had the thin ones and the rest of the world uses the thick ones, tunners will still go after the thick ones because its JDM yo!

Lol I had the idea the other day that I might make it a point to use only US parts on my sedan... just cuz.
Ehh I would just get a new one. Even a $30 discount parts store one is a safer bet than one thats been exposed to the atmoshere for more than a few minutes.
Then again, I live in Florida, where the summer air is so thick with humidity that its like pedaling through soup when I'm on my bike...

True dat. If the system hasn't had a leak, it will still be like new. I always taped mine up anytime I had to open it. I have bad compressor hoses. I need to get those, too. My A/C isn't working, ATM.

on the smart subject already, potna Mike.
as I'm not having too much spare time these days, it'll pro'ly take me some to finish it, but it's such a fun challenge, I'm taking it.
Powerbygood, sorry about the car. Same thing I always say.. maybe it's a chance to make some things different... and better.

Dropped my head off at the machine shop earlier. it was amazingly flat for a used head, just gonna sand it a little bit, freshen up the stock 3 angle job and slap it with some fresh valve seals... and of course a good clean
