well my 98 is sitting dead right now, bad automatic, and my wife knocked the front bumper off, I am interested in fixing it, especially with gas prices going through the roof, any transmissions that will swap other then manual, I love manuals, but my wife can't drive one, it's a leg issue, not a learning one, it seems you can't find a good automatic for these anywhere, even the transmission shop said they are junk, and aren't worth rebuilding, I could possibly do a swap, it's well within my capabilities

AYO Battle, s2k is sick! It needs whatever you think it needs I'm loving it as is.
Port, you gotta love them rx-7's dun! amazing how such an "old" car still stands so nice visually wise (and not only visually). look for dragon performance- you'll love their rx7's...
arm and hand pain because of sanding for a day? I know how you feel pana...

this will leave me three projects, the 98 which needs a tranny and some tlc, I had just done a timing belt change, got the valves adjusted right, new water pump, new cv joints, motor mounts, and some other work, and the tranny went. figures. I also have the 86 accord which is my major project, and the 90 Towncar which just decided to blow oil all over the engine today, I know what I'll be doing tomorrow. I'm hoping in a couple of months pick-a-part in Tallahassee might have one, parts for this car are pretty hard to find around here, they go really fast

LoL they're off now and ready to trade tho! haha I'm chomping at the bit to get them mounted so I can post an update on here. But I do have a photoshopped pic of how they'll look. this is before my car was lowered and before a lot of my mods for that matter. the guy who photoshopped it lowered it for me and put gt3's on it.....so here's my teaser.....enjoy.....

Today's work with 80 grit to remove all the imperfections. These two were the worst ones as seen in the previous picture. Tomorrow gonna do the other two then work with 300 grit after

Getting a complete intake manifold just makes it a little easier, since all sensors/injectors/tb will be there. But you don't really need the manifold itself. You should get the tb ince obd0 map is on firewall and obd1/2 is on tb itself.
You will not need a new oil pump with crank sensor, because you will be running p28.

okay, thanks for clearing that!

In my eyes it absolutely needs it. Especially after that last pic he posted. those soft tops are like grown men wearing skinny jeans.

Thank you for the welcome. I'm enjoying this thread, still trying to fully sift through the almost 2K pages of sedan pics and posts, just about 1/2 way there, hahaha.
