Be4 and after is always great. Turning a rock into a Gem is the purpose!
Someone is hiding very nice updates of their ride! So secretive !
I would like to chime in here. Everything said here about spring rate is generally true. If you think a stiffer spring w/ a dropped ride height will be comfortable for a daily your wrong. Can it be tolerable? yes! A dropped ride height compresses a shock assy.
ex. let's say your shock has 14'' of travel, you lower 4'' to have your daily drop. Rendering 10" of travel useful.
Scenario - Now Your cruising on the fwy and hit a dip/bump! The dip requires 12" for your tires to remain in contact to the ground. The dip extends/compressed your 10" + added 2" what happens? you have a hard hit or you become air born! not by much, but anything can happen. Just some info.
Your sway bar choice is good! It will help w/ stability and cornering w/ that size. The rule of thumb w/ out going overboard is 4mm max apart between F & R. 26F 22R / 22F 26R. However I suggest just keeping an eye on the sub frame. If there's a whole lot of spirited driving you may want to invest in a sub brace. I think a few ppl. have only had problems w/ 24, but 26R is mostly a no no.
Hey bro thanks for the info man. Reasoning behind such a high spring rate combo is I'm going to be riding daily dumped and I want to lessen the bounce as much as possible. I just wasn't 100% on the rear. I will be one day picking up Function 7 LCA's and either a 24MM ASR swaybar and endlinks or an ITR swaybar and OEM endlinks. Haven't decided on my swaybar yet.

I will also be getting an ASR subrframe brace probably sometime in the spring. I'll probably end up getting the 24mm ASR Sway bar and the subframe brace in the combo package. I do also need to upgrade my front sway bar, the stock EX is tiny, I'll probably pickup an SI sway bar for the front.

Thanks for all the help rare I'm not saying these rates will give me a comfortable dumped ride. I know that will never happen so im trying in effect limit some of the front travel of the struts since these take more of a beating than the rears. So I think coupled with extended top hats and the slightly stiffer spring this will help counteract struts bottoming out. At least I hope lol.

Moose- Have you upgraded the front swaybar yet? If not you may not like the effects of the thicker bar on the rear. I've read it will give you more understeer (I think or could be oversteer) with the thicker bar on the rear. If I'm not mistaken Port posted a link up talking about the different effects of the thickness of swaybars front vs. rear.

bigger sway in the back = + oversteer. i was watching a F1 race and the announcer had said that one of the Honda engineers explained it very easily. understeer you hit the wall with the nose, oversteer you hit the wall with the tail.

Thanks for clearing that up for me. I wasn't real sure but I am now thanks to that explanation for the simple people.

just to clarify, understeer or oversteer are not better than one another. they are just names for ways the car reacts when losing traction in a turn. some people prefer one over the other. it is up to whoever is drivings' preference.

I figured it was coming somehow!
I"d take oversteer any day! I can live w/ out an ***, not a nose! LOL
