I had an SI cluster with 32K and some change w/carbon fiber CTR overlay. Got the thread link, where is he located?

GMG

loving all the pics.

Babyg, that is sort of the approach I'm going at with my sedan, accept with spoon reclining seats instead of the recaros. good luck on yours!

Devious, are you referring to my pics lol? That was me with the signed spoon banner, unless I missed a pic from Mallard hah

Lawrence, I thought about converting back to go SIR, but I really can't get past the fog light design between the two years, I just love the 99-00 version so much more, maybe if I ever bought another sedan I'd look for a 96-98. It just kinda puzzled me why I thought about converting back when most want to convert forward lol good luck bro I can't wait to see it when you get it all done.

It took me forever to warm up to my 96-98 front end because I was always a fan of the 99-2000s. I'm finally happy with it and don't want to change, but I had no idea people were switching FROM 99-2000 to 96-98. I have heard of people doing it in turbo applications because the lower grill is wider and allows more air to flow into the intercooler. But ya, that's cool and unique that you guys are going for the 96-98 style.

Yeah i hear ya, i was surprised to come across that low of a mile one. I almost spent $50 more than i did and got that, but it was the week before i flew to Cali to get my car and funds where tight as it was so i went with the one i got.

I've thought about it. I think its easier to pull off 15" wheels with the 96-98 look. I think it makes the car look a little smaller or something. People practically give away 96-98 fronts too.

Thanks Tyler. I'm only doing this so I can put my oem front lip on. Did you use 99-00 headlight brackets when you converted? If you used the existing 96-98 headlight brackets and want to use 99-00 let me know because I have a extra brackets from an si if you want to trade

Mine is actually a 2000, I just love the SIR bumpers and thought about converting back to the 98 spec but I love the fogs too much lol.

Babyg, black with red stitch would be a nice contrast with the bright *** red carpet lol maybe USDM itr's like mikes, or maybe black with red stitch recaros.
