Default zex programming problems

like the title says. i just installed a zex wet kit on my EG hatch. i tried to follow the instructions but its not working.

the instructions says to turn key on the on position and then flip the arming switch. then go to the zex box and press the button light should go red after push the button. (the light for mine turns red as soon as i arm the switch) then push the throttle to full throttle for 10 sec then release. light should flash from red to green then off.(mine didnt do this)

can someone help me that has installed this kit
