Default zdyne with 72lb injectors

Is there any one that can help me? I need some kind of base for my tune. I have a zdyne gold in a 91 civic with a 3 bar map. The car is using a home made turbo manifold and a garett t3t4 63 60 turbo. Any help would be great.

Do an Injector recurve from a stock 240 map using: (under tune wizard)

Base - 0.50 / Gamma -0.016

Dont do the recurve on a 450cc map.. Those settings should work just fine for some 750cc injectors. I got our race car idling pretty decent with a set of 950's using the Zdyne SECU.

what does the "base and Gamma" do? I have the Zdyne and I run 680cc and it runs just a hair rough at 22-18 in vac. I cant smooth that part out for some reason.

Well whats your fuel map calobrated for? 450's? the base and gamma are under the tune wizard, this changes the entire fuel map for different size injectors.

How do you know what to set the base and gamma to? I finally got my car running today so I could drive it. It seemed hard to tune. The n/a fuel map was just a little lean and the boost map was hard to figure out. Every time I added more fuel for boost the it also seemed to add more to the n/a part of the tune. Any more help would be much appreciated
Thank you
Brandon

Base just is like a general percentage, Gamma allows percentage compensation as original values get higher. Larger gamma produce more leaning on larger fuel pulses. This brings larger fuel pulses down further than smaller ones, thus giving a flatter fueling curver.

What are you using for a base map?

I didn't realize that I was using the basic pm6 for froced induction that is allready recurved for 450 injectors. As soon as I get a chance I will try just the pm6 program and try to set it up for boost and the 3bar map. Is there anything special that you have to when you are setting a normal map up for boost?
Thank you

Try that tune and let me know how it works, its basically a modified B16 spark map, 3bar, and a custom 750cc Fuel map I whipped up.

yes my fuel map is for the 450's. I just moddified that to compensate for larger injectors.
I will try changing the base and gamma. If I go and change these settings will I have to now retune to these new settings?

thanks

I tried the map and it was to rich and wouldn't even rev up. The map that I am running right now is a modified crx 2bar map for 450 injectors. I did what you said to the base and gamma and changed it to a 3bar and it ran ok. I had to add a lot of fuel to the boost part of the map and it was hard to get it to run on boost. I was also having a hard time with timing.

Dude, what freaking map sensor do you have on your car, you cant just plug in "2bar map" or "3bar map" if you dont have one. is it stock? whats your setup B20fun. thats why it wouldnt rev up and was running like complete hell on both your setups.

Scooter send me your .zdy file via email and I'll see what I can do.

It might be the map sensor that I am running. I wasn't sure what one to use so I used one from a turbo diesel. That is what I was told would work and it was in stock. I have 72lb 2ohm msd injectors, msd 6al, 84.5mm b20 block with 9:1 endyn pistons, eagle rods, ported and polished head, stainless valves. JG intake manifold, aeromotive fuel pressure regulator, adjustable cam gears and springs and retainers. It is also a non-vtec head

Whats your p/n on the map sensor? just throw a stock one on right now, they read 1 bar, and we can get your car running better.

Scooter, thats probably the way to go since your obd1.

I put the stock map sensor on and it was really easy to get running good. I'm sure I either have the map sensor wired wrong or it is the wrong map sensor.
