MAP limiter/larger injectors
There was a discussion a while back about a MAP limiting circuit that was made to take the place of a Missing Link or check valves; it seems to work (from other's experience) and is still being worked on by Filetofit.
The following circuit is used to run larger injectors on a souped up factory-turbo Daihatsu (of all things) in Australia:
Would these two work well in conjunction, or would it be possible to even use just the pictured circuit in order to run larger injectors and boost your Honda? Is that not exactly what the AFC hack does? Could my engine management cost under $10?!

Re: MAP limiter/larger injectors (ion_four)
so, does anyone want to tell me what exactly the afc hack does to the sensor outputs? Does it just reduce the voltage from the MAP? how does everyone that uses the AFC like it?

The latest status is I've got the breadboarded circuit working. Gonna do a road test soon. I'm also working on creating a printed circuit board to neaten things up.
By the way the same circuit could be used to modify the MAP signal in anyway you want as long as the modified signal is still linear versus pressure. You can add or subtract a constant voltage and change the slope of the voltage versus pressure curve fairly easily just by tweaking some pots.

Re: MAP limiter/larger injectors (filetofit)
so if i'm reading this correctly this is used to run the VAFC hack, larger injectors, and able to boost 12+ psi w/o going in limp mode?

Re: MAP limiter/larger injectors (98civicEX)
The circuit will electronically limit the MAP signal to the ECU to 3 volts. No check valves needed. However you are not bleeding off boost so the stock MAP still sees whatever psi you're pushing. I think you'll kill the stock MAP sensor at pressures over 11 psi so keeping a check valve teed off the stock MAP for boosting over 11 psi is probably a good idea.
