putting together a mild boost build... 300whp or less... local guy is selling an obx lsd, brand new...

I know that they are hit or miss, but when they are rebuilt they seem to work ok.. ??

Just wondering experiences/opinions on things.... This is a budget build, hence why I'm looking at this.... if I had limitless money I would get a quaife or mfactory....

I'm just thinking this would help traction...

I have an obx lsd in my tranny right now. It's been working fine. I bought it when the obx lsd was still getting good reviews though.

 

are the newer ones not as good as the old generation?

 

i had bought one couple months ago and its junk now.. friend bought his the same time i did and his broke as soon as he took it out that night. so save your money man. just buy a mfactory.

 

ive never heard anything positive about obx products now that i think about it. get what you pay for i guess.

 

Rebuilding the OBX does not fix the problem. The problem they have is runout, which cannot be fixed.
