Default yet another tranny problem..

so i bought my tranny through a great seller honest and all that crap.. well its suppost to be in perfect condition and my problem is that when i am driving normal 2nd. gear seems to be a bitch and not want to grab..only sometimes though.. not on hard shifting or anything like.. just normal or on turns it will pop out of gear.. i am running synchro mesh (however you spell it) i checked the tranny and it is full, i have checked the shiftlinkage and everything is grand.. so what would it be? is 2nd gear going bad?
thanks in advance

The only time my tranny would pop out of gear is when the fluid was low. Are you sure it is full?

if your car is lowered try and make sure it is level. I know when I had my car raked front end lower then the back the oil would come out of the hole like it was full but when you jacked the car up to make it level it still needed some more fluid.

Bearing on the end of the mainshaft is probably going bad. Does it whine?
