Yet another b18b turbo build
Hey guys I got 95 eg8 and I'm gonna be swapping in a b18b1 and I'm planning on boosting it I wanna hit around 300-350 whp so here's a parts list that I will be using
Eagle h beam rods with arp bolts
Weisco pistons with a 10:1 cr
Brian crower stage 2 turbo cams, valves, springs, retainers
Skunk2 70mm throttle body
Skunk2 composite fuel rail
Ram horn headers
eBay turbo kit with upgraded intercooler
A wahlbro 255 intank gaspump
And it will be tuned on a Neptune Ecu
And port and polished head
Now the part I'm having trouble with deciding on is what cc's to get the injectors
I don't wanna Go to big and flood the motor or too small and lean it out
And the other thing is I'm debating on boring it too 84mm what do you guys think is that a good Idea or no
I plan on using the car as a dd and weekend racer with auto x track days and a couple drags I want it to be reliable so if you guys think that with 350whp needs to sleeved please feel free to tell all opinions thanks

you can't just bore to 84mm. that requires sleeving.
why build the motor and run an ebay kit? i would rather skip the build and buy a better turbo setup IMO.

I though you could bore up to 85mm without re sleeving
And I know a couple that run eBay turbo kits and they said they are fine as long as you upgrade the intercooler and use better oil lines

In regards to the injectors, get some id 1000's. No matter what size injectors you get which will probably be 450 cc at the minimum, you have to get the car tuned. Getting to small injectors or too big of injectors is not going to lean or flood the car. For example, my rc750cc are maxed out 90% duty cycle (404hp). If I want more horsepower, I need bigger injector. At the same time, these were the same injectors I used when I first tuned the car at 264 hp, cant remember the duty cycle. All I'm trying to say is you cant flood or lean out the car because the injectors are too small or big..... Its all in the tuning. Your tuner will calibrate all that mess that I know nothing of lol.... Hope I was clear....

Re: Yet another b18b turbo build
You dont need to bore out. Leave the bore as is. A far as horsepower with what you listed, I can see 400 easily and thats a low number because I have no clue what size turbo your getting which you didnt specify...

In its current state, this build has FAIL written all over it. You need to research, read the Forced Induction FAQ, and re-evaluate your "plan"

Re: Yet another b18b turbo build
Not for nothing, but going back to what I said earlier, doesnt look like you researched. For what you want and the parts you are using, its two different scenarios. Please do yourself a favor and do research before you blow money away for real. Just being honest, not trying to dog you. Just speaking from expierence, thats all.... LEt me start you off with reseach. Here is a link and just read....

Re: Yet another b18b turbo build
You have some options in that regard.
As for the eBay kit, don't bother with any of it, especially the turbocharger if you're going through the effort to build the engine.. (81mm can do just fine for 350whp without having the need to resleeve) save the "boring" money for better turbocharger components from good companies.

Re: Yet another b18b turbo build
350 hp all motor is very very expensive... Once again your asking questions that are already answered on these forums if you just read some.....

Must...resist...urge to lock....
Logical next step...dont bother adjusting your plan to accomodate the new information we gave you. Instead, do a 180 and head in the complete opposite direction.
