XTD clutch?
I got the xtd stage three 6 puck and resurfaced the oem flywheel.
It grabs hard and the clutch feel is like stock
Engaging into first it chatters like a **** but I found that if you ride it to long it chatters violentley. Your engagement has to be quick and smooth and chatteing is minamal.
Also make sure you break it in properley I didn't and it slipped at the top of third and fourth. I took it easy on it after this and now theres no slipping.
I think for the money it a good deal but if I had the money I would have gotten a more reputable clutch.

Just had the stage 3 xtd 6 puck and flywheel installed this week. It chatters, but not a whole lot more than my stock clutch did (in some situations). Plus, its not even broken in yet. Hopefully it will get at least a little better in the next few hundred miles.
I noticed there's an xtd stage 3 carbon clutch being sold on ebay now. Just wondered if anyone has used it yet.

i use this stage 3 in my prev ls turbo hatch and now my turbo d16 crx and have no problems so far. and i know im putting out more power on both than what they rate it for .
i have the same clutch the stage 3 6 puck, as of last night my car does nothing when i put it in gear, my car can be runnin sittin still and i can let go of the clutch in gear and it does nothing, while i roll it also does anothing 1-5th and reverse has NOTHING, and hear some grinds down in my tranny, do you guys think that could possibly be the clutch are the tranny is straight up gone, ive put about 10k miles on the clutch...pretty rough 10k miles haha but ive had no problems until tryin to rip through 2nd gear and it did nothing but bounced rev limiter basically the car wont move unless i push it, i havent gotten a chance to pull it off and take a look yeah, what are y'alls .02 on this?!
edit
im puttin down 260whp and 243tq if that helps with any ideas

It goes a little something like this, "you get what you pay for." I use to have a xtd stage one clutch and they say it was rated at 250 whp and 220 ft of troque (or something like that). I sure my boost d16z6 with a t25 turbo will make nothing close to it and it slip like a ****. XTD is out in my book.
