WTF is wrong tons of smoke, car shutoff??
Ok drove my car yesterday it was just fine ran great..
Its been raining a good bit here but i had to go pick up a part so i wanted to drive it.. I started it let it idle and warm up about 10 minutes while i talked to my boy on the phone.. Then i pulled out went about 100 yards and it shutoff while doing about 5-10mph.. I started it back up and saw a big cloud of smoke it ran for a sec then cutoff.. I pushed it back toward my apartment then started it and drove about 50ft into the parking spot it shutdown again before i stopped..
I made a call then restarted it and it stays running fine now but is smoking like a train a greyish/white color smells kinda like oil but can't tell my nose is stopped up.. The motor sounds fantastic and normal no weird noises nothing, no leaks the oil looks great might be a tick to much in it but not much..
I let it sit about 15 minutes pulled the filter off my turbo and started it no smoke at all but for some reason my stupid throttle cable hung wide open and i shut it off no i see smoke again..
Give me some ideas of things to look for and things to check out.. The motor was built about 3 months ago and has under 4k on it i barely drive it..

Take your charge pipes and downpipe off and look for signs of oil leakage. Oil either getting into the combustion chambers or into the exhaust can explain both the smoke and the stalling. Then you can figure out what caused it.
compression was 150 in every cylinder..
We reved the car up and freaking water came spraying out of my BOV and my filter was soaked.. I'm sure my IC is water logged its been raining like crazy and i got a vented hood but i do have the cover on it but it can still leak around it.. I'm gonna sell it and get me a oem cf hood..

no Brad the return line looks good we checked everything even reburned the ecu with my map because everytime i got to around 4k from a stop light it would spit and sputter and smoke because the turbo was slightly starting to spool it felt like a shitty basemap..
When i got it to the shop we let it run a after we did the ecu and compression test we reved it up and water was misting out of my BOV.. They said it was'nt enough water to hurt anything they said i could either take my IC off or drive it easy for a few days that lil bit of water would'nt do nothing but clean the carbon from my piston tops....
