What could possible be wrong with my setup?? it only made 219whp (on a Dynojet) and it has the following done to it...
drag gen kit 57trim 63a/r greddy front mount 10psi
b20 block stock besides block gaurd
b16 head with
ferrera .5mm over sized valves
crower springs and retainers
gsr cams
jg eldlebrock mani
310cc injectors
apexi vafc (tuned to 12.1) vtec kick in at 5500 was at 4500 when dyno'd
ls tranny
and some other bs

my main problem is that is makes less power now and a way worse 1/4 mile time (was 228whp and ran a 12.7 and now all I get is a 13.8) 10 whp and a second off my 1/4???? and another prob is that when I dyno it, it runs fine throughtout the entire rpm band untill I let off, it startes poring out white smoke and back fires for a second then it runs normal agian.

So what do ya'll think is wrong??

 

Have you done a compression test lately?

 

not lately, but before it was only 170-180.

 

Clutch could be slipping? White smoke = water or coolant you may have blown a head gasket. Ask your mechanic about how to check for a blown head gasket. Bubbles coming up in your radiator at idle is one sign. Goodluck

 

Umm, you mention 310cc injectors and VAFC, but no inline pump/fmu? If that is all you have, you are out of fuel my man

 

i have a fmu and i have a 255 pump and my air fuel is good, I did have a blown head gasket about a couple of months ago and fixed that so I dont know why smoke come out when I let off only on the dyno.
