What the F Im so frustrated. Ive been searching for clamps for weeks now, trying to avoid paying $45 for a f'ing clamp.

I have a Tial 44mm WG INLET flange but do not have a clamp for it. I assumed they measure the flange by the outside diameter, which is 2.5 inches. So I order a 5 Star 2.5inch vband clamp from a company(youngsperformance.com) and its a good half inch bigger than the flange when fully closed! So I called 5 Star and give them the part number, they tell me the part I have is a 3.2inch clamp. So I called Youngs back and had them send me another thinking maybe the sent me the wrong one. The second one is the same damn thing as the first. The clamp is supposedly 2.5inches but actual ID measurements show its closer to 2.75 when completely closed. Not gonna work. How the hell are these things measured??? And is there anyone out there that sells vband clamps for Tial WG Inlets other than Tial???

my 44 tial came with both flanges.....my v band from youngs would not mate to my turbo so i had to cut some material off the turbo flange to get proper fittiment with the 3" vband, oh and the clamp with the tial isn't like a normal vband
