Default Wrap for Turbochargers.....

I'm thinking about getting this wrap for my t3/t4 turbo.....Think this is a good thing or a bad thing to invest in?? Has anyone had any experiences with this?? It says in the ad "It eliminates turbo lag and increases throttle reasponse. Increases power by keeping heat from exhaust side of turbo away of intake side." This kit costs about $84.95 Think this is worth to get.....thanks in advance

its thermotec product. It works great but you only need it on the exhaust side to keep the heat generated.

85 bucks for that......get some wrap for the exhaust and wrap it around the manifold and turbo........same stuff and more cost efficent

My understanding about the wrap is that it is bad for the bearings to trap all the heat in there.

I hear it will mess up your manifold.

It's good in theory (it will not however eliminate turbo lag), and racers do use it. But that's because they can afford to replace their manifold more often.
