hey,
i got a stock vx motor (d15z1) and i was wondering would you put a turbo kit, running at around 7 or 8 psi. it has 176KM on the engine and still runs good.
thanks

do it...when it blows get another motor, its not like they are hard to find or expensive....Might as well have some fun on an old motor then buy a new one after it gives away

Re: Would you? (TravSi)
yea, the motor is still strong, its just if it does blow up....i dont have the type of money like some people on here to just "throw in" another motor. i wont be running it hard, like track or anything just for fun

I wouldn't. I'd save the money spent on the turbo kit, and do an engine swap. They will yield about the same power (assuming low boost), and you won't have to worry about the engine blowing up from boost!
B16a is cheap, and a good motor for that car - I have the VX model too.

Ohhh, definitely save up and just get a swap instead, like the other guy said. If you don't have the money to just throw in another engine, then a turbo is most likely not for you.
