Default Tell me what you think and give me some info/recommendations.

im putting together all the stuff i need to do a weekend in car "rebuild". stock pistons/rods,rings,arp rod bolts, new rod bearings, headgasket, etc. im pretty sure ill go with arp for the rod bolts, is it worth it to get JE rings over OEM when the JE are 60 bux? any particular brand of bearings i should get(acl perhaps)? is it worth it to put in some arp head studs while im at it? and my last question is about the headgasket, im considering raising the CR with a thinner one, and i can raise it to about 9.6:1 as compared to the stock 9.2:1. is it worth it? lemme know. it seems more than likely that ill get most of the stuff from 2K_TEG.
