Is it worth it. . . ? (Valve replacement from JG to Crower)
I have a head that has been ported, and worked over by JG Engine Dynamics (from waaaaaay back)
It had all the JG stuff in it. . . valves, retainers, springs, etc.
I have purchased Crower 402T-2 Cams, and the matching spring/ret set.
I bought the Crower springs and retainers because I feared that the JG single valve springs would bind with the bigger crower cams.
Is it worth it for me to buy the Crower valves too. . . or should I just use the JG Stainless Steel Valves that I currently have?
Would there be any disadvantages of not going to crower valves? I mean. . . they're probably lighter - but besides that?
