Default ticking valves?

just rebuilt my motor...i have stainless steel valves, rocket springs/retainers, and crower 402 cams...the valve lash is set at .007in .008ex...just wondering if i should loosen them or what?...the ticking is not very loud...but loud enough to annoy someone...is it just because everything needs to break in and then re-adjust the valves again?...let me know...thanks.

very cold...the head went to the machine shop for about a week and a half, brought it back and did the valve adjustment.

a friend told me that, with stiffer valve springs and bigger cams, that ticking noise is somewhat normal...he said if it's not really really loud, then it should be fine...is this true?

Im planning on dealing with valve-ticking when I go big cams and stronger springs. I think its due mostly to the lift/ramping of the cam lobes and not so much the springs, but I'm an idiot so I'm probalby wrong, so just wait for someone to give you the right answer.
