Default wiseco piston ring question(tough one)

i just bought a set of wiseco pistons 9.0:1 coated 1/2mm over bore. the rings that came with them are file-fit, does any one know what the ring end clearance should be for a turbo application

.018 is ok for both mid and top rings......... you don't have to file-fit the oil rings...

don't go over 25psi on WISECO..

I'd say only 20psi maxed out...25psi is pushing it!!!

I have his Rollerwave pistons (they are Wiseco forgings). I don't think Larry uses the standard wiseco rings though.

I know a lot of people running JE's and CP's run a much looser gap than that, but I've had no troubles with my setup.

only 10 psi, just trying to build a reliable daily driver, wanna keep it conservative so it stays alive longer

Are you saying wiseco's are only good to 20 psi?
