Default wire hookup on walbro??

hey i got my walbro 255 HP for my EF..and it come with a plug and 2 wires and to conecters?..do i use theses or cant i just hook the factory wires on to the new pump like the stock pump?

The plugs on the Walbro are different than the ones on your factory pump so you'll have to change them. Make sure you have the polarity right or the pump is just going to spin backwords, I don't think you want to pull the tank back out after you just put it back in. Hope this helps

best is to relay it separately to the battery and grounding it to the chassis.

You have to cut the plugs off your original wires, take the connectors that came with the kit, and splice in the wires from the new plug. If your really planning on maxing the pump out alot of people suggest you run a dedicated power to the pump and ground it on the cassis. I have never done this because I've never ran the pump that hard, I'm sure a search will bring something up.
