yeah vw 1.8T's get boost at like 1,800 RPM. I dont see why would couldn't run it granted you find the right manifold/dp combination that will fit it

they are uber small.
i think itll work fine with the d16..wont make crazy power but itll add some nice pep to the drive

Yea it will work...you'll probably gain alot of low-end but it will probably run out of breath in the hi-end but definately a good upgrade

in my defense there are two other holes besides the oil return and oil feed which are probably the cooling. u were right about that. and no u have to be pretty dam stupid to wrap yourself around a telephone poll.

I wouldn't want to have a powerband like a stock turboed VW.
I work at a VW dealer, so I get to drive them alot.
The low spool is good for passing, but thats about it. Topend is non existant.

i gain about 21mph in the back half of the 1/4 with a bolt on ko3 jetta weighing 3klbs
not crazy topend but the car pulls real nice around town, downshifts are rarely necessary...etc.
