Default Will JE'S resist/stand up to detonation?

How strong are these pistons? Will they crack or melt? Has any one had issues with them?

ii have detonatied slightly on my JE pistons, i pulled the engine out, and got the head off last night, the tops of the pistons still look perfect except for black carbon (of course)

They are forged so they're definitely stronger than stock, but you don't want to detonate your engine no matter what!

my JE piston after detonation at the end of 5th gear:
they are not bulletprove pistons..just forged...
tuning is the fukin key...I learned the hard way

Yikes! Looks like you had pre-ignition because the rings and lands got soo hot, ouch!

DAYUMM.... i had some slight pinging in mine for like a second, mine still look good though, i would have puked if that had happen to me
