i have a 94 honda prelude si (2.3L non vtec) some 1 told me i should get the injectors off a turbo eclipse and send them to RC to balance and do whatever they do. he said they will probably chard like 100 dollars for that. i can get some injectors for cheap. will they work on mine? i have an injector resistor on my lude so that means i am peak hold right. let me know thanks guys.
peace.

I think your car also uses low-impedance inectors...just disconnect the wiring from yours and see what the resistance is in the injector with a multimeter...if it's less than 8-10, then you can just plug in the DSM's without a resistor box. If you have more like 14-16, then you'll need the box.

Preludes from 92-96 have low-impedance injectors (Peak and Hold) which is why the resistor box is there. Your friend's civic doesn't have a resistor box because his injectors are saturated (high-impedance) just like the 97+ preludes. 1990-1997 DSM turbo injectors (from cars with a manual transmission) are all 450cc Peak and Hold injectors.
Buy the damm injectors already!
Do you want me to take pictures of mine in the car so you can see the blue plastic plugs that are common to DSM injectors?
We're not lying to you man!

firedrake, so i dont take off my resistor box right. leave everything as is. just plug and play right. also on ebay im getting these from a 1g eclipse, he said 450cc injectors that where on an automatic though. what u think?
Sorry it took a while to get back to you, we were out racing in AZ at Race Wars
No, you leave everything on the car as it is, they're totally plug and play, just need to tune the fuel once they're in....
As far as I'm aware, the MANUAL tranny DSM turbos came with 450cc injectors....to my knowledge, the AUTOMATIC tranny DSM's (they were all FWD) came with smaller injectors that were 370cc or 350cc or something like that.....so I wouldn't bid on them, or else I'd retract your bid, and if the guy complains remind him that false advertising a product on ebay is fraud......

i reread it it says an upgrade for automatics. i got them for 50 dollars. i dont have any type of fuel tuner or anyhing like AFC, i take it this will be too much fuel?
Tell me more about your setup.....what turbo kit or components are you running? I would DEFINATLY get something to tune the fuel with, even a little FPR would be better than nothing......

t3/t4b turbo, those injectors, inline fuel pump, i have a B&M but is a piece of ****!!. go here. http://www.angelfire.com/sc/leenash/index.html ignore those big blue perkins diesel motors i had to put them on there so i could link on ebay.
I would definatly get at least an SAFC or preferrably a hondata setup.....frankly with all the stuff you have on there and the $$$ invested, I'd get hondata....
