Wierd situation....
OK....so I installed my Greddy Boost Gauge and EGT gauge last night. Actually I just did the wiring for it all and today I went back to hook up the one vacuum hose to the Greddy Box. Well I accidentally broke the vacuum hose that runs off of the back of the Intake manifold that goes to the cruise control and instead I used that nipple off of the back of the manifold for the boost gauge...
Well now my car's idle keeps jumping up and down from 1000-2000 rpms...any ideas on why? I can't imagine it being from that line that goes to the cruise control, but who knows....

if its a vaccum line thats not hooked up then its a very good chance that its that. any vaccum leak could cause this problem. 1000-2000k is a big jump, but if thats the only different thing you did then that has to be it

but what happens if you remove the cruise control completly? you still have to remove that line that I took off and I don't hear about cars doing that....
