My check engine came on today, but I'm not sure what the code is. When I jumped the connector it flashed 1 then went solid. Normally, when you get a code it will keep repeating itself, but this time it just remained solid? I sat there for 5 minutes and it didn't change. I turn the key to the off position and back on, and it will blink once again then go solid. Anyone know what this means?

take the jumper out and reset ecu. see if it comes back on

 

pull the fuse from the ECU and hazards, off for like 15 seconds and that will reset the ECU. good luck

 

Actually, I did that 3 days ago when this happened. I thought it was just a glitch. Now it's back on..

 

I'm still getting this code every 2 days or so after resetting the ecu. I was talking to a Honda technician and he thinks it's the SMC or the injector wiring. Since it isn't throwing a valid code, could it have something to do with the wiring? I've checked the wiring of the SMC and it looks good. Could it be a bad ground? The car hesitates a bit but is still drivable. It's hard to tell if it's in limp mode since you can't feel vtec anymore with the jrsc on.
