Default Wideband o2

id like to make the diy-wb control unit, i also have a VW Bosch O2 sensor from a 2003 2.0L with 5 wires coming from it, is this by any chance a wideband? and is it compatible with the DIY-WB?? it would help me because i got this O2 free

is HX and VX the same?

HX and VX are not the same. VX uses the NTK L1H1, the sensor from the VW is probably the Bosch LSU4 which is used by the Techedge version 2.0. The older versions, up to 1.6 use the L1H1. I'm not sure of any others that use that sensor. I think the Innovate Motorsports one uses that too, search for it. Plenty of wideband threads in here to help you choose a setup.

I have the one you need from the VX..L1H1 I think. if anyone needs it I can give them a good price.

how much does the diy-wb run with out the sensor itself?? anyone that made it could shed some light on the final price

prebuilt and u-built kits available. get the 2.0 unit. sensors are way cheaper and the unit is now upgradeable. prebuilt, sensor, and palm and you can get away with 400 or less if you already have a palm brand pda.

theres no cheaper way out i was thinking of just the diy wb unit and a volt meter, how much would that run me
