Wideband after cat?
Just curious what kind of readings happen if you put your o2 after the cat on a wideband? I don't have any way of putting the sensor before the cat and i am wanting to put my injectors in and tune my vacuum columns while i am still waiting for my shorty and dp.

Re: Wideband after cat? (warwagon)
putting it after the cat would not be a good idea...why dont you have any way of putting it in before the car? just get a bung welded in

just dont put it on afterwards
defeats the whole purpose of the wideband
it will not read true air fuel readings
dont be cheap, get that to a muffler shop, have them weld u a bong for $25 and do it right

Re: (blackeg)
Hollow cats **** flow, if you do anything to the cat drive a piece of straight pipe through it. *ABOVE ALL* remember the platinum/rhodium lined innards of a catalytic converter are toxic; heavy metal poisoning is cumulative. However much you take into your body never leaves and after you take in a certain amount you get sick. Wash the inside of the cat with water to keep down dust, wear a mask, and empty the contents into a bagt you can close and dispose of responsibly.
Always make sure the exhaust gas is not exposed to any catalyst material, it "leans" out the AFR readings, rendering them garbage.
