wideband
what the crap. I just looked up the zetronix wb. It looks wayyyy more functional than my plxm300 and it has a damn EGT guage. ****, i paid 210 for my plx setup, but damn. if i could go back i think i would spend the extra cheeze and get the zetronix unit. Foreal, it looks really good!
i believe zeotronix doesn't have a linear output either. I personally use a plx m300 and a lm1....although i recently had to get a new lm1 because mine broke where the power chord plugs into. It shorted out or something and resoldering didn't fix it
As far as having to get a 5 wire sensor ONLY from AEM (if using the AEM sensor)--you can get the standard 5 wire Bosch sensor and simply solder or crimp on the plug from the original aem sensor. No need to get it from AEM. I have the AEM and for my needs (carburetors) it does exactly what I need it to.
It's a toss up between PLX and the LM1 for me.
I got the PLX because you can mount it in/on the dash. There is also something about the way the LM1 reads that makes the O2 require a heat sink.

well i made a desicion and went with the lc-1 i talked to my tunner and he said that it will hook into my carputer with no problems. also i was talkin to my dad, hes the one that programed my front end software on my carputer, and hes gonna adjust the coding so that i will the have the wideband display intergrated into the frontend while using music and gps so i will have a permenent readout on my screen

they have a new one for 200. looks pretty straightforward. im gonna buy this one with the gauge.

its like 270 with the gauge.

That will be fuggin sick...you will certainly have to post screen shots of that
As for those that want an EGT, Boost and whatever else all in one unit, Zeitronix isnt the only one (another non-linear output WB)

The AuxBox will give you the choice of picking sensors existing from the vehicle or use the 5 internal sensors. The five internal sensors are: RPM conversion (from a tach signal or inductive clamp), Manifold Air Pressure (MAP or Boost), Cylinder Head Temperature (CHT) or Exhaust Gas Temperature (EGT), Acceleration, and Injector Duty Cycle (Dwell). Read more about the LMA-3 (AuxBox) </TD></TR></TABLE>
Zeitronix's unit is $399 plus $109 for the MAP sensor and $77 for the EGT probe...which totals $585.
I would have to say the 5 internal sensors of the Auxbox are worth the extra $4 LOL

This gives you the capability of actually "listening" to your knock sensor with headphones to detect ping, or signs of premature detonation.</TD></TR></TABLE>
I am not reading that the R500 comes with any of those sensors...I am sure it comes with the WB02 sensor, but do they include an EGT thermocouple and Knock sensor?
They are pretty different when it comes to features...
