I have a d18y7 with a JRSC......it has 67000 miles on it. Why would I be running hot? I was missing some anti-freeze last week , but there are no leaks so i filled up the reseviour to the line. I think some of the anti-freeze is evaporating when the temp. gets up there. I am running 3/4 of the way to the h(hot) level sometimes. It doesn't always cool down when i am on the highway, while blasting the heat. It never did this before. Please help!! Can a water-pump's fins wear down this soon in a motor's life?

is there white smoke coming out of your exhaust ? it could be your water pump if its the orignal, could be yoru radiator, could be yoru thermostat. could be alot of things.

i think its my radiator. My friend had the same problem with his h22 civic. He changed the dx radiator to a dual core del-sol, so......ill do that. Thanks , man!

it can't be the thermo, because my motor would overheat waaaay to fast. The thermostat opened up after i drove it for a bit. Def, not the thermostat.

i agree on the changing of the radiator to a del-sol two row, will clear up the running hot issues.
