you have a stock engine and retarded your cam timing 5 degrees? That must run like ****

damn, i sprayed a stock LS auto with a dry 50 shot for two years and never had a problem... i wonder if the fuel jet is too small, or not installed, i have seen it before. good luck man

you sure you don't mean ignition timing? Did you actually gain power retarding your CAMS 5 degrees?

intake cam was advanced 3 degrees and exhaust cam was retardeed 5 degrees
and what is my AFR (ait fuel ratio) and if so how do i find out what mine is besides having that little gauge in my car

Have you check your timing?? You said that your intake is 3* advance, did you check your timing after? On a "STOCK" LS 50 shot shouldn't kill your engine. And I hope to god that you have at least 91 octane in your tank.
1. Run 91 or better fuel and run colder plugs
2. Get some sort of fuel management (SAFC, VAFC, etc.)
3. Get a wideband and TUNE!!!

get your car dyno tuned if you really want to do the 50 shot. im pretty sure you can get hondata with the nitrous option, and just have someone tune it with the necessary fuel.

take your car to someone that knows what they are doing.

Nice plug

the safc what exhactly does it do i know a little about it but not exactly can i make boost up my fuel pressure in higher rpms and drop it back down in lower rpms cause i don't want to be running like 50 psi of fuel all the time. also i run the highest octane gas in GA which is 93 i think. also does anyone have a built short block for sale.

With the SAFC you can alter fuel maps for every 500 rpm I believe throughout the length of the powerband. It will simply help you get it to stoich across the board.
