What is your exact fuel setup? Your question is vague because we dont know what you do or don't have.

You say you removed your FMU, but do you have bigger injectors now? The stock map sensor is good until 11psi. You can not run a 3bar map sensor with out some sort of standalone engine management system.

Are you trying to run the AFC hack?

ill try it and if it blows i have another b16 block or ill throw an ls in there or something...besides my block isnt stock ...so it should be able to handle some power...besides its a t3 turbo so its not a huge turbo and if its done right it can be as good as any other tunes....if you look around you can see some people have had great expoerence with this

well if your block isnt stock then shell out some money for a standalone or some TIME for uberdata.

Try running your afc with a 3-bar map sensor and a missing link. It should run great!

Your answer is no unless you are going to use some kind of better managment where you can adjust for things like different map sensors. Also if you are going to run the afc hack(not suggested)...then you don't even need the missing link so toss that thing.

i would not advise it. I wouldn't run more than 10 or 11 on the hack. In fact i wouldn't run the hack at all. Its very dangerous and your car isn't going to run that smooth. If you really want to run 15psi or more then you need something better. Since you have a crx i assume you are obd0 and turbo edit would be perfect for you.

The hack is exactly that, a hack. No one in their right mind who understands how it works(or fails to work) would run it. Even the guy who originally devised how to do it no longer runs or endorses running it.

yea but i need a tune and have limited options....conveting tp obd1 will cost to much and i need it tuned now

-p28 150
-conversion harness 110
-distributor 150
4 wire 02 sensor 50
then to tune (urberdata up to 300) plus getting ecu socketed and these tings installed
thats like 760 plus "unforseen expenses"

right now i can get the vafc for 275 install it...then tune 150

no. your hack will run off the map snesor. stock map sensor will only read 11 -12 psi

and to run the hack you need to remove the missing link.

you cannot just wire up a 3 bar n call it a day. the ecu doesnt know what to do with it. ecu programs will scale for the new map and new input values.

you wont be able to tune very much...do vafc even see boost..i think not...i would keep ur old setup till you can afford hondata ems something like that...it's kinda all or nuthin...runnin a standalone you can change ur injectors see boost...stock map is good to 11.63psi..with a standalone you can get a gm 3bar for like 70bux

get turboedit damnit

i made 180whp on the hack and then
made 234whp on turboedit with just 2 more psi

turboedit supports a 2.5 bar map sensor that will allow to read all the wya up to 21 psi
plenty for you

i have the setup and works wonders

No turboedit is 100x better than the hack. Think of it as uberdata for obd0. You will not need to convert to obd1 to use it.
