Default why????

my turbo ls revs bad *** to around 5500rpm and from then it revs real slow to the redline my turbo is fine ,so what can it be?distributor,plugs or some thing worse

its a stock b18a1 with a Turbonetics T04E T3/T4 Turbo
the car is running rich as hell,so my plugs get alot of carbon build up and i clean the every 3 weeks but i have not done so.its never done this before.idk

how are you getting the extra the engine needs now that it is a turbo in there? vafc? chip? what engine management? fmu?

ok you need to know where your af/r's are, is boost solid, whats the condition of the fuel pump and filter.
still wondering what you are using for engine management.

^^that's not a management...what is it tuned on? Who tuned it? Do you have a readout of the AFRs or a wideband?

Nah...dont feel to badly about it. We all have to start somewhere. Did you buy the car as is or did you have a shop install the setup??

wasn't too long ago I was a noob as well. just takes some time and research, or in my case, beers, a blown d15, cracked ebay manny, and a lot of "so this does that" theories lol. Lets start simple, post a picture of your engine bay to give us an idea what were working with.

What spark plug are you using? Are you gapping the spark plug at all?

Use the NGK v-power 1 or 2 step colder plug. Gap it to 0.030-0.028

Its ok, my GSR wont start either. It could be that its -3F outside and the wind is blowing straight into the front of my car. Gotta love winter

If it just clicks, that's the solenoid on the starter...it means that your battery is dead
