i think a bottle last 1-3 months depending upon driving habits, etc. you're only using the vapors so it should last a long time. and to fill up a 25lbs tank is only $26.50 over here in MN last i checked a month ago.

Not all propane bottles are equal.

The DOT approved ones are the type that you see in RV's so dont go and steal the propane bottle off of your bbq hehe.
...

Meth is cheap but I would still rather go propane because its at damn near every gass station. I dunno where I wold have to go for meth but its probably far away wich would offset the cost. I would rather have a propance bottle than a fuel cell that would probably smell. But my car is a daily driver too and thats a big factor as well.

Edit: I filled up a 5 gallon propane bbq tank the other day for 12 dollars. It was a little more than 2 dollars a gallon. I dont even plan on having that much capacity.

I'm running a water/meth setup.. I have a gas station two blocks from the house that sells it. I've been running on the same $2 worth for a while. I always keep a jug in the car with some spare just in case..

would help a d15b since I can only do around 200whp because of rods? and running a higher oct. gas would only make me loose power correct?

Your power will be about the same. And you will have a larger barrier before you knock. If you want to run hi oct all of the time get your engine retuned and then you will be able to make more power before detonation occurs.

If you are limited because of risk of detonation then higher octane would help. If you are just limited because of weakness of your rods it wont help.

I'll be going with a methanol/water injection setup when I up the boost on my B18B. I won't be using it to push any limits, but for peace of mind. I know I can tune for 350-400whp on pump gas, but I'd sure as heck like to have a little extra protection. There seems to be a good number of people that tune for big numbers on pump gas, but when it comes down to actually switching to that high boost setting on the street/track they load up with some race gas. Same concept, I just want it with with me the whole time

This setup looks nice. Cabin controller to adjust boost activation point, pump on light, and low tank warning light.

Its not a perfect mix. Its mostly water with some methanol. Buying meth and doing your own 50/50 mix is best. However windshielf washer fluid works in a pinch. Its also cheap as hell.

The only thing about the kit I posted above is the supplied nozzel size. Might be a bit big for a turbo Honda, but I'm sure it wouldn't be a problem to find a proper sized Aquamist nozzel. Not to mention it would probably have a better spray pattern as well.
