I know its more a turbo forum but i like this discussion board. I've noticed there's some people in here that are running nitrous. Since i am going that route next summer, i would like to know who's the fastest here and what are the kit or set up you guys are running.

If any car that I was impressed with, it would be Mistabone's here on the board. 13.6 ( I think ) on somewhat stock SOHC motor. I think thats ***** out......

a friend of mine has a crx w/a b18c1 and a 80 - 100 shot. runs consistent 11.50's. he had a crvtec and ran a few 11.30's but that motor couldn't take it. his car is light though. like under 2100 with him in it. he went 12.80 on street tires.

 

another friend of mine just went around 11.70 in his stock zo6 vette w/ 100 shot. thats stock tires too.

I plan to run an 86 CRX gutted to the fullest, with either B18B or LS/VTEC, Going ***** out on NOS. Built engine of course.

 

13 flat with an LS....now this is what i wanted to hear dude! Ok he has a CX wich is lighter that my Intgegra RS but he is running only a 55 shot..ummm...interesting.

A 1986 CRX with a fully built LS engine on NOS is gonne fly! Keep us informed, i wanna see that.

13.55 on a SOHC VTEC with I/H/E and slicks, ZEX at 75 shot.
Was full interior also.

Engine never had head off, stock internals.

Come spring I'll have add KAAZ LSD, close ratio tranny, 12 lb flywheel, CM clutch, Walbro fuel pump, bump ZEX to 85-90 shot, maybe a ZEX cam+springs.

12.99 or spit the rods.

There is a local guy here in AZ that ran an 11.0 @ 121. He ran this timeslip @ IDRC here in AZ back in October. It is a 95 Civic Hatch with a B18C1 and a 150-175 shot direct port kit! I am not sure what place he took during the event!

 

I run a 12.79 with my 100 shot powered 2000 ITR on radials too

 

damn i cant wait for mine to be done now, im looking at mid 12's with my set up .

And what is the best way to spray in 1st gear, is there a special technique that you guys are using? Its gonna be my first time using nitrous and i'm pretty agressive with the shifter...lol....any advice?

 

the very few time i acutally used mine, as soon as i caught traction off the line , , , prob pretty closer in the high end i hit it and gone . just dont hit it in 1st if your having traction problems off the line , youll be worst off ,. . .alot of guys also just hit it in 2nd to make sure no traction issues

 

a 100 shot on a z06 and only an 11.70?? a friend of my pop's has one and when he ran it bone stock, hit off a 12.67. a 100 shot should be able to take off a lot more than a second.

hey team infamous......ever heard of traction problems when driving 500 hsp on street tires?? probably not.


1. if your pops friend only went 12.67....then he can't drive.

2. you try spraying a vette a 100 shot on street tires at the track. i bet you'd hit a wall.
