Well like the title says...I want to make this post..sort of autobiographical. Lots of people here talk to each other outside of Honda-tech and sometimes I even feel like I know some of you considering the amount of time I spend on H-T. I love this place. So here goes a little about me and my baby.

I have a 97dx hatchback..which has been in buildup for the last year and 2 months..yup....never get to drive my car..but then again this is the city...so a car isnt a everyday necessity. Why so long? Well I am broke ****! I am glad to say though that H-T has definitely helped me get my stuff together and my car should be done by christmas. Going with a sleeved block from Viren, Tial from Viren, Hondata from Kyle, Rods from Damon...pistons...hmmm...think Kyle is going to get my money for those too. ...I am currently a 3rd year Mechanical Engineering student, and H-T is my tool of procrastination for these damn problem sets. But its cool its fun when prof...start talking about the real world and you be like oooohh...thats how that works.lol. Dont know what else to say...love working on my car and love gettign paid to work on other peoples cars. Make my living doing tech support for the University so I cant complain..I dont really work much...lol. Dont know what else to say..but I hope you guys enjoyed reading this and hope other people post as well.

My name is Albert Im 20...I had a 98 EK HB...went through Veilside kits, to wings west, to FEELS 9 piece wide body, ZEAL, to SiR to nothing...all through that ****, and still the stock shitty *** motor....Finally sold it, got me a 89 240sx, and got my SR20DET swap the same day...I've been on this site forever already, and I plan to stay as long as its up. I dont like Nissan Forums because they all lack turbo information, so I'm always on this site checking out hondas....I started off with one, so its always in my blood no matter what car I have...

my name is Casey, i am 18 Years old...I used to have a 1997 Nissan Maxima GLE last summer I got. I did the usual things to it, intake, exhaust, some wheels, alot of nice ****. It was really slow though, and one night me and a few of my buddies were drinking and decided to go for a ride (real dumb) I was too drunk to drive so I let the most sober person, my good friend Derek drive...We were being idiots and to make a long story short, slid around a bend at about 100, took out someones porch, bounced off a telephone pole and flipped twice. We all had our seatbelts on and are lucky to be alive. After that i got a brand new 2001 Honda Prelude, did the intake, exhaust thing, and then came across a Jackson Racing Supercharger. I had fun with the JRSC, spanked alot of cars and the night i blew the car up i raced this white 97 Cobra that everyone hyped up but i spanked her, and I was so happy. On the way home I decided to do a little high speed run and i got up to about 150 and kept on slowing down and going back up again. After the run, the car made the loudest knocking, ticking noise so I called Ben Schaeffer, my mechanic and one of the best honda mechanics on the east coast and told him so he told me to bring it down. I destroyed two of my pistons and sleeves basically, and also tore up the crank. Decide to do a full rebuild with GE Sleeves, Crower Rods, Arias pistons. But i knew the JRSC wouldnt satisfy me so i decided to go turbo with this built motor...Thats pretty much my story, i havent had my lude since June 30th, i havent been able to get out and race much except in my moms pretty much stock S2000...I baught her a comptech intake for it, its pretty nice...The lude should be back in a few weeks, im hoping to make somewhere around 400whp at 15psi daily....

I'm an 18 year old Honda Junkie that currently is enrolled to major in Mechanical Enginering at Metro State of Denver.

I have been building things ever since I was a wee little tyke...But my favorite passion so far has been modifing my CRX.

I am Currently Building my spare ZC motor for 400HP, and plan to be the fastest daily Driven Honda in Colorado. Remember I'm only 18 as well

My parents have been very supportive, but believe it or not, have not funded my projects in any way. (and get this!!....My dad doesn't even like cars )

i'm eric w. i have been buying turbo parts ever since i cancelled my crower camshaft order (it was takin too long - 3 months?). i'm a senior in high school right now (17 years old) and i'm applying to college. schools i'm applying to: rhode island school of design, maryland institute college of art, syracuse art school, university of michigan art school, pratt, college for creative studies. i'm always trying to do more art... right now i'm doing some linolium-block cutting. my major interest is graphic design.. so you can pretty much find me nightly pounding away on the keys in photoshop 7. i will soon be taking out a loan for a laptop apple, depending on which new ones come out. right now i am LOVING the titanium powerbook g4 800 mhz. right now i'm busy finishing up some schoolwork.. which is pretty damn easy this year. most of my classes are art! that's about it. oh yeaaaa i'm a member of a local club, project a spec. we are an actual motorsports "crew," we go to autox events. we're mainly about performance and fun. you can check out the website in my sig, as well as allt he turbo parts i have and all the turbo parts i need.

Been in the import Scene for roughly 5 years, turboing motors for about 3 years now. I created http://www.homemadeturbo.com (non-profit) site to help others make their own turbokits for D-series for cheap.

I currently work as a technician at Performance Nissan/Kia in Everett Wa. I am building 2 cars at the momment, 1 LS/VTEC turbo 89 Honda CRX SI for my daily driver/Road Race Car and my 90dx Built ZC drag Car, which will maybe someday run.. Haha.

I have really bad luck with people steeling my cars, and ****, which really ******* pisses me off.

I would post pics of my cars and ****, but its all on my website along with tons of other info, if anyone ever has a question about turbokits feel free to email me.

My name's Mike. I live in Jacksonville Beach, Fl. Right now I'm at UNF in their Nursing Program (Laugh all you want, CRNA's make bank). Anyway, I like it.
So, I bought a Ford Explorer V8 and wanted to slap a Vortech on her but opted to buy a CRX and start from there.

This is her, in front of my truck. Oh, and the CRX in this picture is "in the garage." Any of you complain about space in your garage...try on the dirt using towels.

Hey my name is Gil, I'm 18, and i own a 89 Integra which is in the process of an auto-manual swap since the tranny has gone to hell. After that im gonna finish putting together my homemade turbo setup. I gotta say thanks to Jeff for the great site, its been a lot of help in piecing together this kit even though i cant get the hookups he did.

thousand oaks is a huge joke. we honestly have the highest rate of a-hole kids. check out the newbury park in n out on weekend nights. every effin jock is looking for a fight. it's kinda fun sometimes tho
we also have a gargantuan percentage of soccer moms who roll their SUV's because they think they should handle like f1 cars....

 

heheh, no ****..I work at toyota servicer dept, land of the MILF's in a sequioa, land cruiser and Sienna van...we call most of them thousand oaks Princess, we got a lot of ppl coming from westlake, agoura, newberry park and moorpark...

and yes, they're very spoiled about every lil rattles, squeeks, squeeling noises..hehehe

btw my name is garrett and now i have a 94 gsr in the process of turning to the darkside of boost. the car is in my garage and engine is out in pieces. i will hopefully be able to post pics of my car as i put it back together. i love ht and everyone here is so helpful. even when they tell you to go search. search does wonders. pics comming soon.
