Re: who here use the holley tb (Boosted Ego)
I had one and i also had a BBK. I was totally disappointed with both of them and got the JG/Edelbrock one and it is far better quality out of the three. Plus its the only one that you can get with the GSR style linkage so no more making cable mounts when you run a sheetmetal manifold. I also includes the TPS already calabrated too. They come in 65mm only i think.

Re: who here use the holley tb (b18bturbo)
I got the Holley 68 mm on mine. Sure does look nice, worth the price or increase in hp, I seriously dunno (didn't do a base dyno before I put those things on). But I did rough dyno my GSR stock internals at 7psi drag 3 (holley tb, Edelbrock manifold) came out with 238 whp. The only problem I found with the Holley, the plate was sticking in the beginning and would not close completely causing my idle to increase. After couple of hundred miles, the plate would close.

Re: who here use the holley tb (b18bturbo)
Viren,
I have the Holley 68mm on my 00 Si with DRAG 3. I dynoed with 370cc RC and pump and FMU 8:1 with 18psi 321.8whp and 256 ft-lb torque then now a Hondata Stage 2b, RC 550cc injectors, and thn installed a Skunk 2 IM and the Holley TB redynoed and tuned 369.8whp an 273 ft-lb trq. After the Skunk IM and TB it was a wrold of difference driving the car when the TB snaps open it hits hard just the rush of air and spool up is great. But he Holley TB is plain awful with the Throttle late stick and the return spring is waaaaaaay too stiff its like driving a car with a 3 puck clutch because your either no throttle or baaam wot, we tried to use the stock return spring wouldnt work so I livve with it, but its hard to just ease into the throttle which I've heard their Projection Carbs have the same problem on Domestics. Then the plate sticks and keeps revs at about 2k-3k sometimes but blip it hard and it comes down. Had to mod the TPS holes for full adjustment to .49 volts. We TAC welded the nut on the return spring because its on loose which provided the least amount of effort without the nut falling off. For an all out racer it's great but daily driven is kind of a bitch, I wanna put my Stock TB on on the street and just switch out before a race. This is my only experience with this TB, zip stated the same probs and has had great luck with the BBK. I've talked to Mustang guys who stated all aftermarket TBs were junk and stuck. I had a Gude TB on my old LS Integra worked flawless go figure.
