who hear has put together the full techedge.....
kit,monitor and all,its about $140 for the whole thing to DIY,or about $340 to buy it prebuilt,who here has gone the DIY route.Want tips and stuff from you.

I've got the assembled kit and a wide band o2 sensor that I'll sell you for $200. Never been used except to test that it works.
I've got no use for it now my friggin' turbo teg got stolen.

just have a good soldering iron (with a nice fine tip). you should have decent soldering experience and basic electrical know-how at minimum, especially if you have to troubleshoot it. the instructions have improved though, since the first release, so its really not too bad. its well documented now. they're also good about responding to questions via email and through the yahoo groups board.

im not sure about v1.5, but i tried to do 1.0 and i screwed up. most everything was easy except a few transistors that have pads that are sooooooo close together. Unless the 1.5 is different i wouldnt try it unless you are 100% confident in you soldering skills.

i did the one from http://www.diy-wb.com/,it ook realisticaly 6 hours to put together,from start to finish,it was my first project like this,it was pretty easy and simple,just time consuming.
