I have one and i really like it, i have the strongest sprung set that they offer, the pedal was just a little bit heavier, but it engages and disengages like stock, driveability is great, i am running ti with a stock integra type r flywheel, nearly 2000 miles on it now... i am very happy, but i will let you know after 40'000 miles

I love mine ACT HD extreme, I didn't hardly break it in either, and still grabs like a champ. Have had it for about 3k miles
I havent read all of the stories but some may be contributed to installer error.

Oooh, right here! *Raises hand.* I used their HDSS with the OEM flywheel while boosted at 5-7 psi for 10500 miles and had NO problems. I still use it even though I'm back to stock, and it feels just like new. Has about 11500 miles on it now.

lemme guess...you have an ACT clutch and now you're because of all the negative hype?...I think this was just a defect in one particular model...not allof them break...but mine did...so I am pissed

I had 2 ACT clutch kits in 2 different motor setups... I never had a single problem.
Hands down the best clutch for a Honda/Acura that I've driven.
Oh, also... I used my ACT Extreme kit for at least 20,000 miles, with about 5-6 races, and TONS of test and tune nights at the track on it... and it never slipped once... in fact, I could chirp 5th gear with it

you 'should be' ok on the newer ones...mine was a 2001 model for b-series, which looks to have had problem...I would talk to Dirk offline and ask for details on after support just in case the thing decides to go south on you..

Thanks for all who chimed in. Usually you only hear the bad stuff on line, and seldom do you hear the resolution to a problem. It's nice to know people will take the time to share the good stuff. To get personal, it's my company's future we are talking about so I appreciate it very much.

Re: Who has no problems and loves their ACT cluch? (b3435)
I had an ACT X-Treme PP with HD Disk clutch for about 3yrs now....ran an 11.2 with it and it works perfectly fine...every product is bound to have a bad piece now n then....Give em' a break...Im sure ACTMan will take care of the dis-satisfied customers here...They have excellent customer service...And for ACTMan to be on here should say alot in itself...
