yea cause a headgasket will cause you to leak oil.....damn noob.

Try vtack o ring, or distributor o ring, or the cam seal.

Headgaskets don't leak oil, typically. It's probably your oil pump.

welcome to the club, its a honda thing, no matter what hg you run you will have this issue, some do it more than others. dont worry about it unless its a lot of oil.

if its the drivers side corner... then its probably not vtec solenoid, or distributor, or cam seal. since thats passenger side. you might be right hand drive but I doubt it.
If you are boosting on stock headstuds then you may have some headlift, clean it off and drive around out of boost see if the leak returns.

If it returns and you aren't boosting then you want to check your headstuds... worst case you might need to tighten them.

my head gasket leaked oil to the outside of the block....well it happened to me for some reason...one of my head stud nuts got stuck for some reason when i was torque-ing them and fooled my torque wrench to click and when i cranked this fresh built engine i saw a hair line leak at the vtec soleniod area! i didnt drive it yet, i decided to let the HG see a few heat cycles at idle and torque-ed the studs with little higher torque value, finding that one of the nuts rotated more than the others and THATS where the hair line leak was!

clean the block from any leak and let the engine idle a while and then look around where that leak is coming from! and did you change your HG recently by any chance?

Most seem to have more of an issue around the dizzy area. Are you running head studs?

this is a freshly rebuilt motor by me. it has ARP head studs and cometic headgastket. the oil is coming exactly from that place. cam seals aren't leaking nothing. everything everywhere else is clean. including behind the timing belt cover. will try to get some pics for tomorrow

hate to break it to you but there are cam seals on the timing belt side of the head also

also this is a common honda thing.... I think just about all of my motors have done this and there wasnt anything wrong with any of them

sorry but its neither cause everything from the HG up has no trace of oil. cam seals are no because 1 they are new and 2 i already checked and they are clean as can be. even removed the cam gears to have a real good look and nothing. its only coming from that corner

pretty much every honda motor in existance has a corner leak on the head. if you havent seen a honda leak oil from between the head and block clearly youve never worked on a honda.

my guess is the head is not flat enough around those areas. ill admit im plagued with it.

My teg is also has a slight leak...but only slight. Personally, I am going to keep a close eye if it just in case it gets worse but for now, I am going to keep rocking it.

I always fix the leak by sealing up the vtec sol, distributor or blank cam seal. Have yet to see the headgasket actually be the problem. Sometimes the oil is so clean its hard to see the leak on the side of the head.
